Formed in the mid 90’s in a northern Virginia basement, Godhead has stood the test of time as an influential and truly original hard rock act. One part industrial, one part goth, one part metal, Godhead was never easy to define. «We had elements of so many different sounds in our early days,» says the group’s singer and founder, Jason C. Miller, «that it actually worked to our advantage. We could open for almost anyone and find a way to fit in. People hear what they SEE live so, opening for a goth band? Throw on the eyeliner and play our moodiest songs. Metal band? Wipe off the eyeliner and play our heaviest songs. Industrial band? Smear on the eyeliner AND play our heaviest songs! We always wore all black, so a wardrobe change was never necessary. We even managed to survive 2 months opening for GWAR. I’m still not sure how we’re all still alive.»

United Bastards gründete sich Ende 2008 aufgrund dem großen Vergnügen eigene Kompositionen in geile Musik zu verpacken und der immer beschissener werdenden Alltagssituation für Randgruppen und Subkulturen in der heutigen Zeit.

Der Anfang war sehr chaotisch, da keiner wirklich Musik gemacht hatte.

Ende 2010 wurden die ersten Gigs gespielt mit Bands wie Wiens No.1, Pestpocken, Hudson Falcons, Born to Lose, Pipes & Pints, Abrassive Wheels, Maltschicks Molodoi, Baboonz, Mark Foggo, Die Keulen. 2011 veröffentlichte die Band ihre Limitierte EP «Von Bar zu Bar» mit 4 Demo Songs und drehte auch das erste Musikvideo «Von Bar zu Bar». Nach einigen Besetzungswechseln wurde es etwas ruhiger um die Band.

Seit Ende 2011 ist die Besetzung wieder formiert und hat mit Anfang 2013 das erste Album «Purgstaller sind wir» und das zweite Video «Anders als der Rest» veröffentlicht.

Die Interessen der Band liegen immer noch klar definiert, gegen die rechte Szene, Vorurteilen, Bevormundung durch den Staat und seine Diener und natürlich im Saufen, Punk und guter Laune!

Mit dieser Mischung aus geilen Texten, Pogo tauglicher Musik und zum mit schreien auffordernder Refrains legen die 4Jungs aus Purgstall eine klar definierte Schiene vor!
