Held Beneath are a band from Northampton, UK. Originally formed in 2008 by Chris Shaw, Simon Shaw, Dean Robinson, Jake Key and Carl Brown the band played local shows and released singles until the release of their first EP ‘MMXI’ in 2011.
‘MMXI’ was recorded at Core Studios by Hacktivist guitarist Timfy James and helped establish the band within the local scene, it also gave them the chance to share the stage with bands such as The Black Dahlia Murder, Sacred Mother Tongue, Bury Tomorrow, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Bleed From Within and Skeletonwitch.
